I started programming at 12 because I loved making things. 15+ years into the industry, that hasn't changed - I just make different things now.
At Craftosphere, I set the technical vision and coaching methodology. I work directly with engineering teams through embedded coaching, workshops, and consulting - helping them ship better software, adopt practices like TDD and Extreme Programming, and build cultures where quality isn't a department but a habit. When a Fortune 100 financial company needed to transform how 300+ teams write and deliver code, that was my kind of problem.
I also build the tools and frameworks that make Craftosphere's approach scalable. The Software Craftsmanship Dojo - a hands-on workshop program I co-authored with the BriX Consulting partnership - has improved DORA metrics by an average of 33% across 200+ engineering teams. I'm developing an engineering quality index, an open framework for measuring engineering judgment across teams. I'm part of the nWave team - building an AI-augmented development framework that enforces TDD, peer review, and software craftsmanship practices throughout the development lifecycle. It's where the coaching philosophy meets the code: AI that makes engineers better instead of replacing them.
I write Code That Makes Sense, a weekly newsletter for senior engineers navigating AI-assisted development. The writing started as knowledge sharing; it's becoming a content platform - with a book, deeper technical series, and learning materials on the roadmap.
